WHEN WILL IT END?
Oversaturation of the century. Even HanaKimi and HachiKuro did not feel as overly done as this. What is next? A Bollywood version perhaps. Maybe Indonesian or Filipino twist. I am sure no one has gotten bored with the storyline being retold over and over again regardless of the added small changes here and there. I might even audition to be the next "Makino Tsukushi"!

Indonesian had already made a version though, right after the Taiwan one, in the middle of MG and F4 boom years ago (>___<)
And I was told that the Filipinos have made their own version recently too... That's it! I am waiting for Bollywood.
hmmm... i heard there's a filipino version coming up but they supposedly bought the rights to remake MG, not HYD. doesnt make any difference to me since it's the same plot. im hoping it doesnt push through. i dont want a filipino domyouji or dao or jun pyo!

Shah Rukh is too suave to be Domyouji - I would not be surprised if they put him as Rui but haiz, must have younger cast I think though I am not familiar with new actors.

I just have to say, the Soujiro/ Xi Men line is pretty good looking, I love Ken, Shota and Kim Bum... but when it comes to the mainland version, uwaaahhh, all of them bad huh?

They already have an American version of the Korean movie "My Sassy Girl" like last year or 2 years ago. Just you wait and see. It'll come. O.O;
But in all honesty, I've gotten tired seeing the remakes. We've already got the original manga (my sister has the entire manga series). We already got the HYD anime and even a special movie (Japanese) for it. Next, we get Meteor Garden. Then HYD with Matsujun and Mao Inoue. Then the Korean version called "Boys Before Flowers" (isn't the literal translation "Boys Over Flowers"? Eh, I guess it's about the same meaning). Mainland China version too? I wouldn't be surprised if other countries start making their own versions as well. It's like with that Colombian comedy series "Yo Soy Betty La Fea." The U.S. already got "Ugly Betty." Even the Philippines already have their version called "I Love Betty La Fea." Has the professional scriptwriters and writers run out of ideas or something?
I'll stick to my HYD mangas, thank you.
