V6 had their Taiwan concert last weekend. While I did not get to go, lyn did and she so kindly recorded the show. I have to say... These guys are freaking hilarious! Maybe because I took a break from listening to Japanese for a couple of days or maybe because they are speaking simple and clear, I quite understood what they were talking about (or it could just be that my japanese have improved slightly, else all my studying is for naught). Even while listening to the introduction, I cannot help but reply aloud, "HAI! YOROSHIKU~" to them.
Actually, I almost deleted the files without listening but I am glad I did not because I would have missed this.
It is normal for fans sing-along session during concerts but more often than not, it would be SCREAMING instead of actual singing. So to hear V6 fans singing "ONE" properly sounds really, REALLY good! I am in awe of the harmonious collective voices.
As lyn said, Arashi still has so much to learn from their seniors (which i agree is a good idea - never stop learning and improving boys!). It is a concert in Taiwan yet the feel of their talks is no different than Japan. Arashi was too self-concious that the fans would not understand what they were talking about. Give us more credit!
Your Taiwan MC could have been as long as V6's (about 20 minutes) instead of waiting for the translator. Also since not all of us understand Mandarin anyway (and even for those who does), the translator was just a distraction with her pausing and hmmming. Arashi also needs to speak more clear and the fans need to harmonise our voices better with each other during sing-along sessions.
Here is a news coverage of the V6 concert (starts at 2:20).
Ara-30 & Ara-40 yet they can still do backflips off high stage and dance like younguns. I am in a V6-appreciation mood tonight.
When people asked me how do I eat so much and not gain, I have always emphasize that I love eating meat, meat and MORE meat (though kia and zu came up with the theory that i have a black hole in place of my stomach). By "meat" to me is mainly beef because I do not eat pork and lamb has a strong aftertaste if not cooked well.
Apparently, the diet REALLY works. Watanabe Naomi tried it out for 45 days, lost 8.5kg and even reduced her fat percentage. I am so proud! To me, it is always about eating proper and regularly. She did it well by balancing her meat intake with cutting down the sweet stuff and carbohydrate.
Her idea is much better than Super Junior's Heechul's diet of tofu and water. Sure, he lost 8kg in 2 weeks but he did not even need to lose weight in the first place (that boy has so much body issues) and he said the side effects of it only made his health worse.
Heechul had a little tofu for breakfast, a little tofu for lunch, water if he is hungry and no eating after 6pm. He was left with a sharper tongue, shorter temper (and he was already bitchy beforehand), horrible insomnia where he was still awake staring at the ceiling at 5am when he went to bed at 12am and well, what energy?
For those who want to lose weight, dieting is not about totally cutting yourself off from eating but eating the right thing the right way. I wish more people see that (of course a little exercise does not hurt either).

Oversaturation of the century. Even HanaKimi and HachiKuro did not feel as overly done as this. What is next? A Bollywood version perhaps. Maybe Indonesian or Filipino twist. I am sure no one has gotten bored with the storyline being retold over and over again regardless of the added small changes here and there. I might even audition to be the next "Makino Tsukushi"!
